    I have good, laughing memories of sweet Claude--some old some new. He was a star in my English class and when I was being a prankster with the sub he always went along with it. And in physics, it was the same. He had the best attitude encouraging me to misbehave! But he never did enough to get in trouble. Clever! 
     Years later we were in touch when I was teaching in China. My kids were in awe of a professional Chinese basketball player. Claude went to all the trouble to mail me the players tshirt, and his hat for one very lucky student. It was a huge hit. Absolutely made the day. 
     And now move to present and we used to have long talks. One of the easiest people to talk to.He was an inspiration to me --still funny and kind. Not complaining. Helping me with geology questions! I loved those talks. Claude, I miss you. I learned so much from you. You are free now. ❤️

I was thinking it would be fun. Great fun actually to do a zoom meeting. Are you game? I can set a time and guess I could post the link here. We could all get on, well 100 max, and catch up during the wild and crazy and difficult corona times. What do you think?

I am listening to a Steve Gulley piano CD that Steve sent me. It's absolutely beautiful and I have to admit it's going to be up to Steve to give us the lowdown on his playing and this CD. Ask him to send you a copy. Total enjoyment. Steve! More details and your piano hands!

I just booked a flight to Chicago in October! I'll be driving down to Champaign for my 50th sorority reunion! Oct 13-15. I don't think it can be that many years but that's what they say. I'd love to see anyone who might be around. I'll be back in the Chicago area on Sunday, 16 and Monday,17. Let me know. :)) Hoping to see family there as well.

your birthday wish went to Ruth Ann LOL but congrats on moving back to the mainland! Will you still work in CO? That was a long time in AK...bet you had a grand time.

GREAT to see all of your photos and obviously, it was a great 50th reunion. Sorry to have missed it but I'll give it my best shot to come to the 60th!! Keep smiling everyone and come see me in Seattle. I've been laughing with Laughter Yoga, writing a middle grade book (Nova Scotia last year) and rowing on Lake Union this year.
