IT'S REUNION TIME AGAIN!

CLCHS High School Reunion.

Here is the agenda as it stands right now.

 

8/8/25 (Friday Eve): 

4pm - ??:

Meet at The Cottage located at 6 E. Crystal Lake Ave in downtown Crystal Lake. We can no longer reserve space, so we will just commandeer some tables in that back room area & weather permitting take over the outdoor covered patio area. This evening is a Self pay evening. They have great food & a bar in that back area also.

8/9/25 (Saturday Afternoon):

11am - 2pm: 

We will all meet at the Palmer House located at 660 E Terra Cotta Rd (intersection of 176 & Terra Cotta Rd) for a tour. There will be displays dedicated to our 1965 class & also displays describing that awful tornado that swept through town when a lot of us were on the Senior Class Trip. 

I've been asked to let eveyone know that is joining us at the Palmer House on Saturday morning at 11, that there are stairs leading up to the Tiger's room.  Please let me know if you will be joining us so we have an idea of numbers.  And don't forget your picnic lunch.

There are picnic tables outside so if you want to bring a snack/lunch to enjoy with everyone outside, that is an option. (sadly, for those of you who liked to make a nostalgic stop a Mr. A's on 14 it is permanently closed -boo hoo) Coffee, Water & Ice Tea or Lemonade will be served as drinks.

8/9/25 (Saturday Evening):

6pm - 9pm:

Our festivities continue in the newly remodeled "Rotary Building" located in Veteran Acres. (431 Walkup Ave. - this building is located near the tennis courts).

Casual dress is fine. We will have an assortment of finger foods so that we can all walk around & mingle. Beer, wine, water & pop will be included. (No hard liquor is allowed in this building) Of course, there will be tables & chairs enough for everyone to sit & chat too. We will have DJ music for everyone to enjoy. 

8/10/25: (Sunday Morning)

9:30am - ??:

We are making reservations at Richard Walkers Pancake House right in Crystal Lake on 14. This breakfast is also self-pay. The address is 5680 Northwest Hwy (14). We will ask you to commit to breakfast by Friday evening so we can give them a count for our room reservation.

RESPONSE INFO:

We have tried to keep the cost per person of the Saturday night soiree down so it will only be $35.00 per person. It would be great to get your confirmation in right away so we have an idea of the number of people coming. C'ya there!!

Every Tuesday during the summer the park district hosts a concert at the main beach pavillion.  For those who will be in town the Tuesday before the reunion, August 5th, we will have a table set up for our class. You may need to bring a chair or let us know if we need to bring one for you.  That will be the last concert for the year.  It will be a tribute to Queen and Lady GAGA.
