If I recall correctly, "Tommy" and his twin sister Linda went to St. Thomas with all of us Catholic kids. He was just a good kid and like many other of our classmates that have passed on got jipped...63 is way too young to finish here on earth..blessings and thoughts to his family.
Tom passed away of heart failure complications. He and his sister, Linda, were a year apart in age. I knew Linda much better than Tom, but having spent so much time at their house, felt we were good friends. Tragically, Tom's son, Mike, was killed in an auto accident as a teenager. Sad that Tom's passed on, but good memories of a good guy!
I spent many days in the Gierloff household as Linda was my best friend in 3rd and 4th grade. Tom and Linda were actually twins but he was a year behind her in school. He was shy growing up and always polite but when I was there Linda didn't want to hang around with her siblings like most of us so he kept to himself a lot. He was just a good guy.
